The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) is likely to publish the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams on Friday. According to an OCE official, the work of digital entry of marks is in the final stage and the OCE's board meeting is set for 3 p.m. this afternoon. The meeting will formally decide to publish the results. The exams were conducted in March this year, in which a total of 456,719 examinees had appeared. About 412,592 examinees were regular and 44,127 exempted.The results will be published on websites--including the OCE's www.soce.gov.np and thehimalayantimes.com. The students have to enter their symbol numbers on the sites to know their results. If they want to see their mark-sheets, they are required to enter symbol numbers and date of birth. Once the OCE declared the results, students can obtain the results in cell phone by sending a message to 2722 in THT Live. The results will also be published in Saturday's edition of The Himalayan Times.
