She was a college student taking up Biology at the University of California in San Diego before she was discovered while walking down the street. And she immediately proved to be a hit, with fashion houses seeking her services, including Chanel, Christian Dior, Gucci, Valentino, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg and Giorgio Armani. She also appeared on the covers of Vogue, GQ and Elle. She became a Victoria’s Secret model in 2007 and she is now the face of its perfume line and its new bra line called Gorgeous.
