Most Nepali mothers exclusively breast feed their children. They usually start complementary feeding at six months of age. However the nutritional value of the complementary food is usually poor and hygiene level is very poor. Therefore, high proportion of children of weaning period is malnurished and hence their mobidity as well as mortality rate is also high. The study will be done to find breast feeding practices under two years weaning practices to the infants, Nutritional knowledge among mothers and hygiene and sanitation practices in child feeding.
