Nepal is male dominated society, that's why males are served with better foods than females and the allocation of food is not equal within the family where the senior members are served with better foods qualitatively and quantitavely, thus less value attached to the girl and women's is evident in the family, discriminates against female in terms of both quality and quantity of food which affects the nutritional status of the children and adolescents, pregnant and lactating mothers. For providing physical, mental and social well-beings, adequate nutrition is essential. Inadequate intake of essential nutrients and improper utilization of them leads to malnutrition and deficiency diseases. Iron is a critical nutrient essential for the production of hemoglobin, which functions in the delivery ofoxygen from the lungs to body.

The society of Nepal is male dominated as a result the females are always exploited by males either physically, mentally, socially or culturally. Therefore such problems can be seen in eating habits as well as of social formation. Such ill structure of the society has bounded the females in iron deficiency anemia and dietary pattern. These all indicate, the same problem in Nepal which is in reality great problem due to which the females of Nepal have surrounded by the same. The research will be has been done to find dietary pattern, Hb level, food fallacious and pica.
