The United States has a lot of great things, but their zoos are some of the best in the world! If you’re interested in seeing some of these amazing zoos, then it’s important to know where to go. Some are better than others, and those listed below are among the best.

10. Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida


This zoo has a variety of different animals for children and adults to enjoy seeing! These include: fox, ostrich, blue crab, rhinoceros, African rock python, giant anteater and so many others. The cost is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors, $11 for children ages 2-12 and free for children under 2. The zoo is huge, with different exhibits to visit throughout the area, including: Expedition Africa, Wild Floria, La Selva Rainforest and many others. There’s also a cafe and gift shop on site along with a learning area!

9. Minnesota Zoo in Minneapolis, Minnesota

There are a lot of things to do at this zoo and a lot of animals to see. There are events that happen throughout the year, including a farm that teaches guests how to milk cows! There are inside and outside areas that house all sorts of animals, from sea life to birds. The outside trails are themed and include animals that pertain to that specific theme. The Congo Gorilla Forest is one of the most popular exhibits. It’s a 6.5 acre rainforest that houses gorillas and other wildlife. There’s also a bug carousel for kids and many other exhibits with the most unique animals you’ll ever see.

This zoo has everything from a monkey village with all sorts of monkeys to a petting zoo where kids can pet animals up close.
